MY FITNESS JOURNEY
Embarking on a fitness journey as a skinny teenager, I expected to get amazing results by following workouts found in popular fitness magazines. If only it had been that easy! With aspirations to be a professional wrestler, I wanted nothing more than to look like my idols on television.
I struggled to see the results I desired until I found a personal trainer. Being guided through personalised workouts and nutritional guidelines allowed me to see physical change faster than I had by myself; for the first time in my life I believed that I would achieve my dream body. This is where my passion for fitness comes from. Helping people with similar dreams and aspirations is a rewarding experience; seeing my clients transform week after week reminds me of how it felt to smash goals and do things I never thought I would! You don't need to be great to start but you need to start to be great. Start your journey with me and I'll help you get the results you desire. |
MY wrestling JOURNEY
When I was introduced to professional wrestling it was like nothing I had ever seen before. It was 1998 and the "Attitude Era" was in full swing. The characters were larger than life. The insults were as crazy as the moves they were executing. Wrestling was my first love. I was told repetitively that there's no hope of becoming a professional wrestler in Australia and while it was tough, it wasn't impossible. I began training during high school and never looked back.
Even learning under multiple coaches, it took a long time to be at a level I deemed good enough. It took time to make all of those mistakes but each one served a purpose; helping me inch closer to standing on my own two feet. Once I had tackled Australia, I wanted to tackle America. I travelled to Houston, Texas to train under WWE Hall of Famer, Booker T. That man changed the way I worked as a performer and I've been practising his lessons ever since. After moving to Melbourne I became the longest reigning champion at one of the most prestigious wrestling companies in Australia, MCW (Melbourne City Wrestling) and I never would have had the success I've had without the help of all of my coaches and the lessons that they bestowed upon me. Helping the next generation of wrestlers in this country was the obvious next step and I have been doing so ever since. Whether it's in-ring seminars or online training with the help of my pro wrestling manual, I aim to lead the way with helping aspiring professional wrestlers live out their dream. And while the process should be fun and memorable, you must put in the hard yards if you ever want to succeed. As I always say, you don't have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great. |
